Brianna Donaldson received
her PhD from Indiana University. Her research interests include
mathematical models of perceptual decision-making. As the Director of
Special Projects, her role at AIM involves:
Managing the Math Teachers' Circle Network, a national network of professional development communities for middle school math teachers
Coordinating AIM's contributions to
the Finding and Keeping Graduate Students workshops, a project to
increase the recruitment and retention of U.S. women and
underrepresented minorities at the graduate level
Working with other AIM Directors to
manage the Research Experiences for Undergraduate Faculty workshops, a
project to introduce undergraduate faculty to research opportunities in
several fields of mathematics that will equip them with the tools to
mentor students in undergraduate research in mathematics
Working with other AIM Directors to
manage the Careers in Academia workshops, a project to help prepare
postdoctoral associates for successful careers as a mathematicians at
colleges and universities
