This workshop will be devoted to the structural theory of discrete amenable groups, and new examples of amenable and non-amenable groups. In particular, our discussions will be centered around recent techniques of proving amenability/non-amenability for groups acting on sets and topological spaces and new probabilistic, geometric, and analytic methods.
