Due to popular demand we have compiled a list of references that might be helpful if one wants to learn about contact geometry.
Our seminar is held each Monday afternoon at AIM.
We are currently running two working seminars on Eliashberg, Givental and Hofer's paper "Intorduction to Symplectic Field Theory." The first seminar assumes little previous knowledge and the second seminar assumes some familiarity with Floer homology, contact homology ...
We currently have two mini-courses scheduled.
Professor Eliashberg will be teaching a graduate course in contact geometry at Stanford during the Fall quarter (September 27 - December 15). The course is intended to begin with basic material but still touch on interesting areas of current research. The program participants are welcome to attend this course.
