The Future ARCC Facility

A new facility for ARCC focused workshops is being constructed in Morgan Hill, California. Prior to the completion of the new facility, ARCC workshops will be held at the current AIM site in Palo Alto. When operating at full capacity, the Morgan Hill facility will host up to 24 focused workshops each year covering a variety of mathematical topics. The Morgan Hill site is in a pleasant rural setting south of San Jose, adjacent to a state park with over 80,000 acres of public land and more than 300 miles of hiking trails. Despite its rural setting, Morgan Hill is served by the commuter CalTrain which provides convenient access to the San Jose and San Francisco airports.

The Morgan Hill site will be centered around a large building containing housing and dining facilities for workshop participants, as well as a large mathematics library and seminar rooms. A smaller octagonal building will house a lecture hall and administrative offices. In addition, apartment style accommodation will be provided by two on-site houses.
