This workshop, sponsored by AIM and the NSF, has the goal of
determining the isoperimetric function of SL(n,Z).  Related questions,
such as concerning isodiametric functions, asymptotic cones, higher
dimensional isoperimetric functions, other arithmetic groups, Aut(F_n)
and Out(F_n), will also receive attention. 

The workshop is organized by
Nathan Broaddus, Tim Riley, and Kevin Wortman.

Space and funding is available for a few more participants.
If you would like to participate, please apply by filling
out the on-line form (available at the link above) no later
than May 8, 2008. Applications are open to all, and
we especially encourage women, underrepresented minorities,
junior mathematicians, and researchers from primarily
undergraduate institutions to apply.
