This workshop, sponsored by AIM and the NSF, will be devoted 
to the Kadison-Singer Problem and its relationship to various areas of
research in mathematics and engineering.  The hope is to resolve the
problem, or more realistically, to share partial results and to map
out paths that could lead to the solution.
