Newman, Ezra

1. Are there other reasonable analytic approximation methods other than thin lens and weak fields - e.g., thick lens etc.?

2. How do the different methods compare with the 'exact; numerical integration of the null geodesic equations in a Kerr background?

3. Should there be a discussion of the geometric properties of the Kerr metric - what is the relationship of the Kerr metric to the algebraically special metrics?

4. Should generalizations of the Kerr metric be considered? What class? Algebraically special Type II?

5. Do we only confine ourselves to the lensing aspects of the Kerr space-time - e.g., do we ask questions about the physical meaning of parameters in other solutions of the einstein equaations?

6. Is there any reason to consider the charged Kerr metric?
