Original Announcement

This workshop will bring together leaders from K-12, higher education, and informal education to work toward developing a shared vision for how our entire mathematics ecosystem can collectively support positive mathematics identities for students and educators from underrepresented groups. Participants will build community, share best practices and areas for improvement, and articulate a common agenda for progress. Working groups will contribute to a long-term strategic plan that will be made publicly available and that will serve as the basis for future significant collaborative efforts, such as communities of practice and regional or national mathematics community alliances.
