Connections in the LMFDB
March 18 to March 22, 2019
at the
American Institute of Mathematics,
San Jose, California
organized by
Alina Bucur and Kiran Kedlaya
Original Announcement
This workshop will be devoted to
enhancing the LMFDB by incorporating a wide variety of specific
information on existing objects, as well as identifying the
mathematical foundations of the LMFDB. Does this lattice have some
special property? Is this the first elliptic curve with a particular
torsion group? Does this L-function have a pair of zeros which are
surprisingly far apart? What conjectures are implicit in the
information about this object?
In other words, we want the LMFDB to include all of the interesting
and special information which currently exists in various forms
online and in the knowledge of mathematicians.
