Participants are encouraged to apply as part of a team of up to three colleagues from the same institution but may also apply as an individual. Participants should submit their application with a particular project in mind. This should be a specific open educational resource they wish to develop and share. For example, a participant’s proposed project could be to create an OER textbook from their own set of class notes, or to take an existing OER textbook but modify a particular chapter to better suit the needs of their students. Activities at the workshop will be focused on familiarizing the participants with the tools available for OER creation. Projects should be ambitious but able to be completed within one year of the date of the workshop.
Topics will include:
A report on the workshop activities.
