Sheaves and modular representations of reductive groups
March 28 to April 1, 2016
at the
American Institute of Mathematics,
San Jose, California
organized by
Pramod N. Achar and Carl Mautner
Original Announcement
This workshop will be devoted to recent developments in the representation theory of algebraic groups in positive characteristic. Among these developments are results on mixed/graded versions of representation categories, Koszul duality, and geometric Langlands duality. A key goal will be to foster an exchange of ideas between the algebraic and geometric sides of the subject.
The main topics for the workshop are:
- Parity sheaves on flag varieties and affine Grassmannians
- Koszul and Q-Koszul algebras and "forced gradings"
- Computational methods for Soergel bimodules and sheaves on moment graphs
