Ken Baker's neato picture of a partial open book decomposition on T2 x I. In my doctoral dissertation, Constructions of open book decompositions, I show how to use these pieces like this to build open books compatible with most of the tight contact structures on torus bundles following Honda's classification. If you have any interest in open books, fibered knots, or in visualizing topology, I highly recommend Ken's blog sketches of topology. He has many more animations and drawings of the open book on the 3-torus. You can download my dissertation here.
